Hyderabad: The Sunrisers Hyderabad tasted its first home defeat against the Pune Supergiants in an IPL match played on Saturday evening at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad.

The home side was short of 12 runs losing the match to Pune. Mahender Singh Dhoni too played to the expectations of the crowd scoring fast 31 with two massive sixes. Pune Supergiant left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat took five wickets including a hat-trick in the match that was dominated by bowlers.

The season's costliest buy, Ben Stokes innings in the match was over shadowed by Unadkat.

In another IPL match at Feroz Shah Kotla, Mumbai Indians created record in the IPL history by beating Delhi Daredevils by 146 runs. Putting to bat first, the Mumbai Indians batsmen Kieron Pollard and Lendl Simmons made blistering fifties by posting a huge score of 212 for the loss of three wickets. Delhi gave up to the opposition team after being bowled out for a meagre 66 runs in 13.4 overs.
