Sujana Officials Appear Before Court in Fraud Case

Hyderabad: The MD and the director of Sujana Industries Limited appeared before the 12th metropolitan court at Nampally on Tuesday in connection with the Mauritius bank loan fraud case. 

The lawyer of Union Minister Sujana Chowdary sought exemption from personally appearing in the court as he was busy with official meetings in New Delhi. But, the counsel for the Mauritius Bank argued that Sujana's non-appearance amounts to contempt of court.

The court adjourned the case to April 1.
