Sudanese Student Stabbed To Death By Roommate In Vijayawada 

Vijayawada: A Sudanese student studying BTech first year at Nova Engineering College at Ibrahimpatnam near Vijayawada was stabbed to death by his fellow countryman at his residence on Tuesday. Both the victim and accused are classmates and live in two separate rooms within same premises in the city.

Police said the students quarreled over a money issue before Mohammed Alladdin stabbed Mohammed Maithobe with a kitchen knife killing him on the spot. The incident took place in a fit of rage and it was not a planned murder, the police said and further investigation is on. Alladdin also sustained knife injuries and is undergoing treatment.
