Subhash Ghai meets KTR with film institute plan

Hyderabad: Veteran Bollywood filmmaker Subhash Ghai met Telangana Infotech and Panchayat Raj Minister K T Rama Rao on Monday and discussed plans to work together to promote the movie industry in the state, an official release said.

Ghai explained his plan to set up a film institute of international standards in the state, according to a Telangana state government release issued.

Noting that the Telangana government is committed to promote the film and entertainment industry, Rao told Ghai about plans to set up a film city, the release said.

The minister urged Ghai to set up a facility in the proposed film city, the release said. Ghai also expressed happiness for being invited to be a partner in the state government's plans to establish a 'gaming vity', the release said.
