Sub-Inspector kills his wife in KPHB

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a Sub-Inspector killed his wife at KPHB colony in Hyderabad.

Bhanu Prakash, 45, who hails from Kadapa was married to Sowjanya, 37, has two children - Tanmai and Kaushik. He and his family has been living in Samanagar Prasad residency apartment in KPHB colony.

Bhanu Prakash, who worked as Sub-Inspector, was on long-leave since three years, without informing his higher authorities. After several warnings, they suspended Bhanu last year. Ever since, Bhanu has been facing severe financial crisis.

On Friday, the couple's quarrelled over some domestic issues. In a fit of rage, an angry Bhanu allegedly attacked Sowjanya with knife and killed her. After sending his children to his parents house, he surrendred in KPHB police station. Police registered a murder case and sent the body for post-mortem.
