Students try to storm KCR's camp office

Hyderabad: The students of Osmania University, who have been protesting the suicide of University of Hyderabad research scholar Rohith Vemula, tried to storm into Telangana CM's camp office.

They have been promptly arrested by the police on Friday's morning.

The students shouted slogans against Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for not visiting UoH so far when the ministers and leaders from various parties and other states visited the university and condoled Rohith's death.

Meanwhile, The University of Hyderabad's staff urged the students to stop the agitation and attend classes. They said the academic activity was being hampered due to the continued strike.
