Student Trapped in Lift, Killed
A five-year-old student of a private school in Dilsukhnagar was killed when she got trapped in the school lift on Tuesday.
According to preliminary reports, the student Jehana arrived at the school and entered the lift to reach her class. However, she got trapped in the lift door and was killed instantly. Eye witnesses said that the head got partially severed from the body. Locals and other parents used crowbars to open the lift door and bring out the body in one piece.
There was no employee from the school at the lift. Some parents at the sight alleged that the parents are not allowed to enter the school premises while dropping their wards, nor any school staff is present to help the students at the lift.
Police have arrested the school principal
