Student activists obstruct ministers in Anantapur
Several student organisations obstructed Congress ministers in Ananthapur district on Wednesday.
Ministers Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Raghuveera Reddy and Sailajanath were on their way to tour Anantapur district when the activists of several student organisations stopped them demanding a college for women in the district.
However, the ministers were allowed to go after assurance from them to set up a women's college in Anantapur.
