Strained Ties With Wife Behind Vijay’s Suicide?  

Hyderabad: Tollywood actor Vijay Sai on Monday committed suicide at his flat in Yousufguda here in the city. The comedian was reportedly in a state of depression
for quite some over not getting roles in movies. He appeared in Telugu movies like Bommarillu, Ammayulu Abbayulu, Current, Mantra and various other small-budget movies like Ekalavyudu, Indumathi, Na Girlfriend Baga Rich, Vara Prasad, Potti Prasad, Okariki Okaru and Mr Manmada.

He also donned a role in Brindavanam starring Jr NTR. His last movie was 'Dhanalakshmi Talupu Tadite' which was released in 2015. A case has been registered by the police and investigation is on. Further reports are still awaited. The Tollywood
fraternity was shocked over the sudden demise of the actor.

According to reports, Vijay was in neck-deep in debts after an investment involving a well-known producer. However, the name of the producer has not been revealed. Vijay
made his debut in the comedy, Backpocket. Family members and his friends said that Vijay had become a recluse over the past few days. Meanwhile, Vijay's mother told media persons that her son had a strained relationship with his wife Vanitha. It is learnt Vanitha had separated from him following differences between the two, which could also have been a trigger for the actor's suicide. Vijay's daughter would visit him once a week, said the victim's mother.
