State set for Vishnu's arrest

Stage is set for the arrest of former Jubilee Hills MLA P Vishnuvardhan Reddy in connection with a brawl at a wedding function at the N Convention hall on Friday.

According to reports, Vishnuvardhan went underground fearing arrest.
Police sources say they formed three teams to arrest Vishnu. Vishnu attacked Kalwakurthy MLA Vamsichander Reddy and his gunmen at the wedding. Both the leaders lodged complaints against each other at Madhapur police station. But the video footage showed Vishnuvardhan slapping Vamsichander and attacking his gunmen for trying to stop him.
As the news about the arrest spread, Vishnu applied for anticipatory bail and the court adjourned the petition till Friday.
Meanwhile, several senior Congress leaders are trying hard to convince Vamsichander to withdraw the case.
It is learnt Vamsichander stood firm on his demand and denied to withdraw the case.
