State's Mountaineer Masthan Babu found dead

Nellore-born Malli Masthan Babu was an ace mountaineer and went missing while climbing the Andes Mountain Region in Argentina, South America. Rescue operations are on since then, now the reports are the aerial team which is searching for Malli found his dead body.

Malli's sister, Dorasanamma is in Argentina to oversee the rescue operations and even the Ministry of External Affairs has been in regular contact with the Argentinean authorities. Unfortunately none of their efforts saved the man who lived his dreams. Masthan babu is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta. He achieved the rare record of the world's fastest seven summiteers, when he climbed the seven summits in 172 days in 2006. Malli Masthan Babu was also the first person from Andhra Pradesh to scale Mount Everest.
