State division opposed by Seemandhra Journos at ISRO - Sakshi Post

A section of journalists on Tuesday created a flutter in Sriharikota when they shouted slogans and displayed  placards against creation of Telangana, at the press conference of ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan.

The journalists carried small banners saying Don't divide AP, in an apparent opposition to the formation of a separate Telangana state from Andhra Pradesh.

Radhakrishnan was present when the incident happened. He had arrived to address the media following the launch of India's Mars mission at the spaceport in Sriharikota.

According to sources, the scribes determined to register their protest before Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office V Narayanasamy, who is one of the ministers in GoM. Narayanasamy was also portrayed to be one among the Tamil-trio (Union Minister P Chidambaram and AP Governor ESL Narasimhan are the other two), who were the active catalysts to the bifurcation  of Andhra Pradesh on ethnic rivalry. Around 15 slogan-shouting journalists, after using the opportunity to get the attention of national media, later left the venue.
