State bifurcation process is on: Digvijay
The Centre is seriously contemplating on putting an end to the crisis in the State over Telangana, said Digvijay Singh, Union Minister and in-charge of political affairs of Andhra Pradesh on Monday.
Addressing a meeting of the State office-bearers at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday, Digvijay said the Centre would take a decision soon and requested the party leaders to abide by it. Digvijay cautioned that the political leaders should not be in business, if they were already in business they should give it up. The meeting was attended by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana and other senior leaders of the party.
The senior Congress leader said he would present the views before the Congress Core Committee on the State related issues along with Kiran Kumar Reddy and Botsa Satyanarayana.
