Starving Bride Collapses After Wedding Rituals, Dies In Suryapet

Hyderabad: A wedding day turned tragic for the family of a bride in Suryapet near Nalgonda. The bride identified as Gayatri died of heart attack after the wedding rituals on Saturday night. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead.

Her family members said that after the rituals, the bride and the groom G. Venu stepped out to visit a temple but then all of a sudden the bride collapsed. She was taken to a hospital but due to unavailability of doctors she was shifted to another hospital. However it was too late by then.

Citing the cause of bride’s death, her family members rue that she was on a fast the entire day and had also skipped her wedding meals, adding there was loud music being played during the wedding. The bride’s family didn’t register any police complaint and treated it as a natural death.
