Stampede at Army Recruitment Camp

Hyderabad: An army recruiment camp in the city turned tragic when several aspirants were injured in a stampede here on Thursday.

The condition of four candidates is said to be critical. The incident took place when army officials opened the gates of the stadium where the recruitment process was scheduled to begin. As soon as the gates were opened, the candidates tried to rush-in resulting in jostling and then a stampede began.
The injured have been rushed for medical treatment.
