Staff strike affects tourism in Vizag


Tourism in and around Vizag was hit by a strike of the employees of the Tourism department which entered its fourth day today.

The staff, who locked up the entrance to the Borra caves, threatened to intensify the stir on a state-wide scale from the 18th.
Meanwhile, tourism to Araku Valley and Anantagiri got badly affected on account of the strike. The employees began their protest on Wednesday, demanding regularization of their jobs.
