Sridevi​’s​ Last Holi Celebrations

Sridevi--a star who faded too soon and was lost forever, brought a pall of gloom everywhere. The widespread outpouring of grief on Sridevi's passing away mirrors her popularity. The collective grief of her fans was heightened by the fact that the last rites of the actress were performed on the eve of Holi celebrations. Legions of her fans also decided against celebrating the festival of colours as a mark of respect to the actress.

Sridevi had celebrated a colourful Holi with her husband Boney Kapoor and Daughters Jahnvi and Kushi Kapoor last year. A picture of Sridevi with colours dabbed on her face, is doing the rounds on social media. Clad in her favourite white- coloured saree, she is seen smiling sporting her husband Boney Kapoor's name in colours on her body.

Incidentally, the funeral of the actress created a world record in terms of the number of people who took part in the actress’ final journey. She was dressed in white as per her wish on her last journey.
