Chennai: Boney Kapoor carrying an urn, which has the ashes of Sridevi, was immersed in Rameswaram on March 3. A picture of the family at Rameswaram was doing the rounds on social media, which showed Boney along with his two daughters Jhanvi and Khushi and a pontiff.

Sridevi passed away after drowning in her bathtub at her hotel room in Jumeirah Towers in Dubai where she had gone with family to attend nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding. The Dubai public prosecution handed over the mortal remains to her family after two days of thorough investigation to confirm the actual cause of death as she died under suspicious circumstances. Sridevi was cremated at the Vile Parle Hindu crematorium with state honours. She was dressed in white as per her last wish. While her body was wrapped in tri-color with gun salute to bid her farewell.

After the Sridevi’s demise, Boney Kapoor who till now hadn't used Twitter tweeted from his wife official Twitter handle.

Similiarly, Jhanvi's letter to her mother has now caught the attention of everyone and gone viral. The letter was written by Jhanvi a few years ago, who has grown up watching her mother's huge stardom.

"Dear Mom,

Growing up hearing about your aura, dedication, sincerity and inspirational grit to be the best and achieve the most always made me wish I was present to witness it all. Through all that you have done in your life, you have made me the proudest daughter in the world and I love you the most.

Your daughter, Jhanvi"
