Spurned lover slashes girl's neck with blade

Unable to digest the rejection of love, a young man allegedly attacked the girl with a blade at Bhagyalakshmipeta of Tadepalligudem.

According to reports, Basha, a resident of Bhagyalakshmipeta attacked the girl who was sleeping at her residence.

She had reportedly turned down his proposal for marriage some time back. It is learnt that he slashed her neck with a blade.

The girl was rushed to a nearby hospital and her condition is said to be critical.
