Spurious liquor claims three lives in RR district

Three persons died after consuming spurious liquor in Alwal area of neighbouring Ranga Reddy district on Friday, police said.

The incident occurred at Balaji Nagar when three local labourers consumed illicit liquor at around 4.30 AM after which two of them died on the spot while the third person died while undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Alwal Zone) K Venkateswara Rao said. Alwal police are conducting further investigations.
