Sachin Makes A Note Of Indian Team In the ICC World Cup 2019
Hyderabad: Sachin Tendulkar observes that the combination of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma has been a prolific one and this had led the team to great starts and will make things easy for the middle order in the ICC Men’s World Cup 2019.
He also said that there are no other left-hander in the batting order other than Dhawan which is notan ideal situation. He adds that if the team has good quality batters, and then it does not really matters whether it is left-hand or right-hand.
"Ideally left-right combination is something which disturbs the bowler’s line and length and also the captain has to readjust his fielding,” Tendulkar was as quoted by a leading international agency.
“But if you have good quality batters, which we do, then it really doesn’t matter whether it is a left-hand right-hand combination. We have some solid batters who can deliver the punch,” he further added.
Sachin also heaped praise on former Indian captain MS Dhoni and said that he can offer India a lot more.
India would play its first match in the World Cup against South Africa on June 5 at Southampton.
