Speeding truck kills couple, son in Vizag
Visakhapatnam: A couple and their 11 years old son were killed while their daughter was injured when a speeding truck hit the motorbike they were riding from behind on the NH-16 stretch in Nathayyapalem area in the city on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as B Ramana (30), his wife B Menaka (25) and son B Latwik (11). Ramana's daughter Kundana suffered injuries.
Traffic inspector Ch Prasad said that the family lived in Sujathanagar area of the city, and was returning after visiting relatives in Gajuwaka.
While Ramana died on the spot, Menaka and Latwik died at the hospital.
Kundana is said to be out of danger.
The police have arrested the truck driver.
