Speaker Manohar disqualifies 9 Cong, 6 TDP rebel MLAs

In a historical decision, Speaker Nadendla Manohar on Saturday announced disqualification 15 MLAs including nine from Congress and six from TDP.

The Congress MLAs are Jogi Ramesh (Pedana), Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy (Punganur), Chandrasekhar Reddy (Kakinada), Maddali Rajesh Kumar (Chintalapudi), Perni Nani (Machilipatnam), Alla Nani (Eluru), Sujayakrishna Ranga Rao (Bobbili), Ravikumar(Addanki) and Buchepalli Sivaprasada Reddy(Darsi). 

Telugu Desam MLAs are: Amaranatha Reddy, (Palamaneru), Praveenkumar Reddy(Thamballapalli), Kodali Nani (Gudivada),  Sairaj (Ichhapuram), Taneti Vanitha(Gopalapuram)  and Balanagireddy (Manthralayam). The 15 MLAs had challenged the disqualification petitions filed by their party on the ground that they had not received the whips. Out of 15 MLAs, 14 joined YSR Congress, while Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy met Jagan and also Vijayamma and he is yet to join in the party. 

The Speaker was yet to complete enquiry on the disqualification of K Harishwar Reddy (Parigi), S. Venugopal Chary (Adilabad) Chinnam Ramakotaiah (Nuzvid) and Gangula Kamalakar(Karimnagar).
