Speaker calls meeting of floor leaders

Assembly Speaker, Nandendla Manohar, has convened a meeting of floor leaders of parties on Monday to resolve the ongoing impasse in the Assembly which could not transact any business for the past four sessions.

The Speaker had a meeting in his chamber at the Legislative Assembly with all the opposition parties requesting them to let the Assembly sessions go on peacefully. But the TDP has abstained from the meeting.

TDP whip, Dhulipalla Narendra  made it clear that they would not attend the floor leaders meet till their demands are met.
