Son Kidnaps Father, Tortures For Property

Hyderabad: A 83-year-old man filed a case against his elder son after he was kidnapped and tortured by him on March 30. However he was rescued by his younger son.

Venkata Narayana, a retired government teacher kidnapped his father Ramulu for property and tortured him for the signiture on the property papers. Ramulu, who is also a retired teacher lives on his pension and looks after his agriculture land. He has two sons and two daughters. The elder son Venkata Narayana has three daughters whose marriages were performed by their grand father Ramulu.

Ramulu has two properties in Hayath Nagar. He transferred one of the properties on his elder's son name. Later Venkata Narayana sold the property gave by his father and enjoyed with the money. Greed over the money he demanded his father to transfer the other property on his name and also asked a share in his monthly pension income. As Ramulu refused to do, Venkata Narayana hatched a plan to kidnap his father.

On March 30, he went to his father's house in Velugupally, Nalgonda along with his nephew Vijay and some goons. He went alone inside and talked with his father and promised him to take to a good doctor at Suryapet as he was suffering from a health issue.

Believing his son, he followed him. Instead of taking to hospital in Suryapet Venkata Narayna headed to Hayath Nagar. The old man did not understand what actually was going on. On seeing Kamineni hospital in Hyderabad, the old man realized that he was in Hyderabad. When he started asking questions, the persons in the car bet and threatened to kill jim.They forced him to sign some documents at the Sub-Registrar’s office in Hayathnagar transferring the house site in his name

Later, the old man was taken to Suryapet where he was locked in a room and beaten up every day demanding for the pension money. Meanwhile, the old man’s younger son, Sriramulu grew impatient when he could not reach the mobile phone of his father for four days. He rushed to Velugupally and came to know through the maid servant that his father was taken by Venkatanarayana.

Immediately, Sriramulu reached his elder brother’s house on Thursday in Suryapet only to find his father’s face swollen due to the physical torture.

Along with his younger son, Ramulu lodged a complaint against his son Venkata Narayana and investigation is on.
