Smoke billows from Governor's car

Governor E. S. L Narasimhan had a narrow escape on Thursday when smoke billowed out of his car while heading for Tirumala.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the morning while the Governor accompanied by wife Vimala Narasimhan near Padmavathi guesthouse.
The cause of the smoke is yet to be known. The security personnel following the Governor's vehicle noticed the smoke coming from the car and immediately informed Narasimhan. He later left for Tirumala in another car.
The governor couple participated in the festivities at the Lord Venkateswara temple.
