Software Techie Stabbed To Death

In a shocking incident, a software techie was killed in Bengaluru on Monday. According to the police, Pranav Mitra (26), an employee of the software major Accenture, was found dead near the Chocolate factory in Taverekere. There were stab injuries on his body.

According to his friends, Pranav went to his friend in Taverekere this weekend and headed home early on Monday. However, some unidentified assailants accosted him and slabbed him repeatedly. The police, who were alerted by the onlookers, rushed to the spot and shifted him to St John's Hospital, where he succumbed to the injuries.

Local police have registered a case and have begun investigations.
