Chennai rapper Sofia Ashraf is back again with another powerful video which is catching up like a firebrand on social media. Titled as "Democracy is dead" in the video she voiced her dissent against Sasikala Natarjan, who was chosen as Tamil Nadu chief minister.

The video shows her walking along with her team at Poes Garden on Sunday. She is seen reeling off in Tamil about the political flux. She is joined by her bandmate Suren Vikash U and three others who give chorus. Her Facebook post has garnered over 60K likes.

The video starts off as Sofia says, "We are extremely disturbed by what’s happening in Chennai right now. Democracy has taken a huge hit. And here’s what we think about it.”
