Smiling itinerant sets out on Paramarsha Yatra today
* YS Sharmila to tour Mahabubnagar district
* First major visit by party leader post-Telangana formation
* 13 Assembly constituencies to be covered
YS Sharmila would hit the road on Monday as part of the Paramarsha Yatra (Consolation Yatra) to call on 21 families that lost their members due to shock and grief in the wake of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy's sudden demise.
Through the yatra, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's sister will reach out to the people of Telangana hinterland with the message that the party would stand by them at all times. In the first phase, she would tour Mahabubnagar district in five days covering 921 km through 13 assembly constituencies.
Sharmila's itinerary
On December 8, she would reach Brahmanpally and garland the statue of YSR at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad. She would cover Irwen, Devuni Padkal and Veljala villages in Kalwakurthi mandal, to console three bereaved families.
On Dec 9, she would visit Amrabad, Ettham, Kollapur and on Dec 10, she would cover Pentlapalli, Chityala, Ranipet, Nandinne and Dharoor.
On Dec 11, she would visit Jurala, Konnuru, Kosi, Aminpur and Kodangal. On December 12, Sharmila would four more villages before leaving for Hyderabad via Shadnagar. She would also unveil the statues of the late leader at various places.
Fresh hopes of strengthening people connect
The party leadership in Telangana hopes that the Yatra, which till now has covered only Khammam district, would further strengthen the party's people's connect. It would also provide succour to the YSR loving masses, who have been waiting for succour besides fulfiling YS Jagan's vow of consoling each and every bereaved family.
Meanwhile, party SC Cell chief Nalla Suryaprakash expressed the hope that Sharmila's Yatra will further strengthen the party in the Telangana state. She said the people of the state were waiting for Sharmila's visit in hope and anticipation.
