Sivaji Raja Downplays Ram Gopal Varma’s Comments On Drugs Case 

Hyderabad: Following the interesting comments made by director Ram Gopal Varma on the controversial drugs scandal in Telangana, Maa Association President Sivaji Raja on Saturday downplayed the former's comments on Facebook.

Speaking to Sakshi, Sivaji Raja said there was no need to take RGV's comments seriously at this juncture. "He did nothing to the welfare of the Telugu cinema industry, anyone from the industry trying to make such comments should be taken less significantly," he said.

Nobody can rule out the facts in the drugs case, neither they can prove the innocence of the guilty, Sivaji Raja said.

When asked if anyone connected to the industry are expected to receive notices further, Sivaji said that only the Excise police could tell about further developments.

Ram Gopal Varma in his Facebook post said that Director of Enforcement Akhu Sabharwal is being projected as 'Amarendra Baahubali' while cracking down on the drugs menace in the state.
