Shruti Haasan
Singer and actor Shruti Haasan is the daughter of the veteran actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur. She had started her career as a playback singer at the age of six years and became popular after she gave her voice for the film En Mana Vaanil under Ilayaraja's music.
The actress had made her acting debut with Hey Ram, a Tamil-Hindi bilingual produced and directed by her father Kamal, where she played a role of freedom fighter Sardar Vallabhai Patel's daughter.
In her eight years of career as a heroine, the actress has won many awards and been highly appreciated by critics as well as other movie buffs. Shruti entered Telugu industry with Anaganaga O Dheerudu.
She has proved talent in every field she chose and has excelled in them. She also entered the modelling world before turning into actress. As a music composer, Shruti composed the tunes for the film Unnaipol Oruvan.
