Show guts, attack Pakistan: Shiv Sena tells centre - Sakshi Post

Mumbai: The Shiv Sena on Tuesday demanded the centre to "show guts and attack Pakistan" in retaliation for the spate of terror attacks carried out from across the border in the recent times which killed many Indians.

In a sharp edit in the party mouthpiece Saamana, the Sena - an important constituent of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the Centre - said that recently, four Indian soldiers were martyred for killing one terrorist in Kupwara area of Jammu and Kashmir.

There have been similar encounters with terrorists in Udhampur and Handwara (Jammu and Kasmir) and Gurdaspur (Punjab) with heavy losses on the Indian side.
"The tragedy is that the terrorists are proving to be major challenge to the Indian security forces... Some Pakistani ministers and Hafiz Saeed keep threatening India at will and get away... But we just laugh it off," the Sena pointed out.
In the process, the country is losing on its brave soldiers while the terrorists are being honoured as 'martyrs' and freedom fighters in Pakistan, with memorials erected after them.

Despite this, when Indian soldiers are blatantly killed on the borders, we are compelled to fight with Pakistan-supported terrorists, but we also continue to hold negotiations with Pakistan, though it is simply not interested in discussing terror activities.
It is amply clear that Indian forces can take on the Pakistani terrorists and terror camps in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), just like the forces entered Myanmar and destroyed the terror camps there.

Air Chief Marshall Arup Raha, who heads the Indian Air Force, has declared that "we are only awaiting the political nod" for such an action, making it clear that the Indian armed forces are prepared for it, the Sena pointed out.

"The need is political will -- where can you get this political will? We cannot borrow it from the US, UK, Germany or France... It has to come from our own government," the
Sena said.

It urged the Centre to let the Indian forces "enter Pakistan once and set right the problems" -- since merely offering wreaths on our dead soldiers' bodies doesn't reflect manliness.
