Shootout near Neeru’s showroom in Jubilee Hills

Hyderabad: A gang of three, in a bid to rob the Neeru’s showroom in Jubilee Hills, fired in the air outside the showroom on Thursday afternoon.

According to eyewitnesses, they wanted to create chaos outside the showroom before robbing it. However, their robbery bid was foiled by the locals who caught one of the gang members. The locals handed him over to police and the one who was caught was identified as Fahim.
Two managed to flee the spopt out of which one was nabbed later. The second accused who was arrested was indentified as Abdu Sattar.

It’s believed that the three-men gang is hailing from Gulbarga of Karnataka.
Daramendra Singh, an L&T worker who was on duty at the construction site of the Hyderabad Metro-Rail near the area of the shootout was injured.
