Shoe Hurled At Actor Tamannaah

Hyderabad: Actor Tamannaah faced an awkward situation, when a shoe was hurled at her during the inauguration of a jewellery showroom in Himayathnagar on Sunday.

The shoe was hurled by a youth identified as Karimullah, who was immediately taken into custody by the police. Interestingly, after throwing the shoe, he stood his ground and did not budge. There was a huge crowd of fans and supporters of the actress at the inaguration ceremony. Bouncers drafted for the occasion, are said to have pushed some people to control the surging crowd. The shoe was hurled by Karimullah at this juncture, eye witnesses said. Some bouncers immediately thrashed Karimullah while a couple of policemen rushed to the scene and took away the offender. It is yet, unclear, why the shoe was hurled by him on the actress. Meanwhile, Tamannaah is scheduled to inaugurate another jewellery showroom on Sunday evening.

It may be recalled that a couple of days ago, a footwear was hurled at Power Star Pawan Kalyan in Khammam.
