Shobha Nagi Reddy demands early release of water

Allagadda MLA and YSRCP leader Bhuma Shobha Nagi Reddy has warned the government against further delay in the release of water to Telugu Ganga, KC Canal and ASRBC.

She said that farmers in the region were already suffering from severe shortage of water supply  and cautioned the government on any further  procrastination.
She reminded the government of the promise made by the Chief Minister to release 7,800 cusecs of water to the Telugu Ganga, KC Canal and ASRBC through the Potireddy regulator. However, to the dismay of farmers, the CM's assurance turned out to be an empty promise with him agreeing to release only 500 cusecs of water. Farmers still have an all-important question on their minds — what prevents the government from releasing water from Srisailam?
