Shobha Nagireddy: AP wouldn't be in dire state if YSR was alive
Andhra Pradesh would not be in such dire state if late chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy was alive, said YSRCP leader Shobha Nagireddy.
The public is facing several problems since the demise of YSR, she said. Slamming Chandrababu Naidu for his inaction, the YSRCP MLA said that the Centre had taken a decision only after the assurance of the TDP chief. Division of state was an example of Chandrababu's opportunistic politics.
She questioned the TDP chief as to why did he not spare a thought about the future of lakhs of employees. Chandrababu was sitting on the neck of Seemandhra TDP leaders to seal their lips on the issue.
The Congress and TDP leaders were playing resignation dramas for the fear of people, she added. A situation where Congress leaders will question the High Command on the division of the state is not practical.
She questioned the Centre if it was right to do injustice to a state for the merry of gaining 15 MPs. The YSRCP MLA predicted a situation where people of two regions fight for a capital.
