Seven T-DCC chiefs want Cong to support Telangana state
Amidst pressure from the Telangana protagonists, the seven Presidents of Telangana District Congress Committees on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana requesting the Congress Party to support the formation of Telangana state at the all-party meeting to be held on December 28 in New Delhi.
They requested the PCC chief that during the all-party meeting Congress representatives must be in favour of Telangana.
They met the PCC chief at at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad. Taking to reporters after the meeting, Adilabad DCC president C Ramchandra Reddy said that the people of Telangana were under the impression that the Congress Party was against Telangana and it was deceiving the people every time after elections.
