Setback to Chautala, Court asks him to surrender on Saturday
In a major set back to former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala, Delhi High Court on Friday ordered him to surrender before jail authorities on Saturday.
The court also barred Chautala from addressing any public meeting.
Chautala, who is also the president of the Indian National Lok Dal, is fighting crucial electoral battle.
The court order came based on a plea by the CBI that king Chautala had flouted bail conditions. Chautala, who secured bail on medical and health grounds, was busy campaigning for the elections.
79-year-old Chautala is currently serving 10 years jail term in the teachers recruitment scam case.
