Seniors like me will be forced to leave Congress: JC

Former Minister J.C. Diwakar Reddy on Saturday made yet another controversial statement, which apparently triggered a major debate among political circles in the state.

Recently, JC made it clear that Congress leaders will not get deposits in the next elections if AP was divided and he would take political retirement if such situation arose.

On Saturday, he said that there was a political vacuum in Seemandhra region. "With all these developments, seniors like me will be forced to leave Congress. There are chances that a new political could be launched."

He stressed that the Congress High Command has taken the bifurcation decision purely for political benefit.

He indirectly lashed out at the Central government for sanctioning the Rs.2.19 lakh Crore IT Investment Region (ITIR) to Hyderabad saying this will further anger the Seemandhra people.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the setting up of Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) near Hyderabad at an investment of around Rs.2.19 lakh crore.
