Seminar on Literature by Telangana Women
Hyderabad: In order to bring the literary works by women writers in Telangna State to light, Sahitya Academy in collaboration with Telugu Department of Koti Women’s College is going to conduct a one-day seminar on August 30 at Koti in Hyderabad.
Regional Director of Sahitya Academy SP Mahalingeshwar will welcome to the attendees while Professor Surya Dhnunjay will deliver a welcome speech. The seminar will be presided by Gopi, the Chancellor of Sahitya Academy, and Telugu Advisory Council. S Raghu (Dean of Telugu Department, Koti Women’s College) will deliver the keynote address.
The seminar will be held in two sessions starting at 11:00am.
Several women writers including Surepally Sujatha, Anishetti Rajitha, K Lavanya, N Rajini, M Geethavani, Gogu Shyamla along with several research scholars will participate in the program. The valedictory speech will be delivered by Velidanda Nithyananda Rao, Dean of Telugu Department, Osmania University. The organisers said that all the writers and art lovers are cordially invited for the event.
