Selfie Craze Claims Two Lives in Kotwalguda

In a tragic incident, two youths were killed when they drowned while taking a selfie in a lake. The incident occurred in Kotwalguda of Shamshabad mandal in Rangareddy district.
According to the police, 12 youths went to the water tank near Manasa Hills in the village for a swim. Two of the youths tried to take a selfie standing in the water. However, they suddenly lost balance and fell into the lake. The bodies were later fished out. The students were identified as Jubed and Shoeb.
The police rushed to the spot and took into custody eight other students.
