Selfie Before A Running Train

Hyderabad: The selfie craze amongst the youth seems to be going out of bounds. We have heard stories of many youngsters dying or having near-death experience because of their craze to take selifes. The latest is a young man's selfies craze to stand before a running train and capture the video. The youngster has been identified as Siva. He tried to capture a selfie video before moving an MMTS train near Bharath Nagar station three days ago.

Siva was standing on the tracks and taking selfie video, and did not budge despite warnings by a home guard nearby and the constant blaring of the train horn. He was thrown away from the tracks due to the impact of the oncoming train. The critically injured Siva was rushed to a hospital. According to South Central Railway Superintendent of Police Ashok, the victim was badly injured on his head and hand. However, he is said to be out of danger.
