Seemandhra leaders protest in parliament for Samaikyandhra

Seemandhra Congress leaders including Union Tourism Ministers K. Chiranjeevi and Kavuri Samba Siva Rao held protest in the parliament demanding a united Andhra Pradesh.

“All members and ministers have come to show how much Andhra people are angry and we want a united AP,” said Chiranjeevi.

Seemandhra MPs have been protesting against the decision to form the new state since the monsoon session of parliament opened Aug 5.

The Congress and the United Progressive Alliance had July 30 endorsed creation of the new state.
