Security beefed up across city for Id Milad

The Andhra Pradesh police has tightened security across the state given the vulnerable situation in the state.

Hyderabad turned fortress as the police stepped up security cover especially in the old city vicinity to prevent any untoward incidents.
There was unrest in parts of the city after pro-Telangana activists tried to disturb peace to protest against the Centre's decision to delay its stand on Telangana.
While the arrest of MIM leader Akbaruddin Owasi had already irked the old city residents, the Telangana crisis has added fuel to fire.
Today being Is Milad-un-Nabi the police is leaving no stone unturned to see that the day passes off peacefully. Also, the Muslim in the city held a procession for peace.
It is learnt that Rapid Action Force personnel too are being deployed as a part of elaborate security measure.
