Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar's son booked for assaulting constable
TheHussainialam police booked a criminal case against Arvind Kumar Yadav, son of Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, for allegedly attacking a constable on Sunday night.
According to reports, the MP’s son, along with others were indulging in Holi celebrations, by lighting a bonfire on the road near Golla Khidki.
On being questioned and persuaded by a constable to clear the bonfire, the latter, G Vamshi, was beaten up by Arvind.
The incident happened right in front of the MP’s house. Vamshi was rushed to hospital for treatment. Later, he lodged a complaint with Hussainialam police who booked Arvind under sections 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter a public servant from discharging his duty) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC.
It is learnt that Anjan Kumar is trying to use his influence to get his son out of the mess.
According to police, Aravind is absconding and a manhunt has been launched to find him.
