Secretariat faces Seema fury over KCR remark
Secretariat which was till recently buzzing with political activities is rocked by protests. In a retaliation to KCR's remarks, scores of Seemandhra workers laid siege to the government quarters on Saturday.
It may be recalled that TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao kicked up a storm with his controversial statement that Seemandhra people working in Telangana must leave.
Hundreds of Seemandhra workers staged a dharna in front of the secretariat to protest against KCR's remarks.
They stopped state minister Sailajanath from at the main entrance of the Secretariat and demanded his resignation from his minister's post. Raising slogans against the Congress, the protestors reached C- block to demand the resignation of the Union Ministers and MPs from the Seemandhra region.
