Secret talks between Congress, BJP

Congress party has been trying to get the support of BJP for the AP Reorganisation Bill – 2013, intended for bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

Senior Congress leaders like Digvijay Singh and Ahmad Patel have been in talks with the senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu this morning.

Several key issues like new capital for Seemandhra, special package for the region and others are reported to be discussed in the meeting between the leaders. 

It may be recalled that BJP is accusing the UPA government of going ahead on the issue without taking into account the concerns of Seemandhra people.
