School Boy Sets Out To Fill Potholes In Hyderabad

Raviteja fills up potholes in the middle of the road at Habsiguda - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: A 12-year-old boy from the city turned a good Samaritan as he filled up the potholes in the middle of the road. Raviteja, who would be joining a residential school in Ghatkesar, was spotted at Habsiguda on Monday afternoon filling up potholes. What's more interesting is that the he did the work without anyone's direction or help and didn’t care about the traffic as well.

When asked what made him to do this, he said, "Little girl Chinnari who died after falling into a borewell caused a lot of pain to me. And I also see many negotiate their way past potholes. I don’t want people to fall or get injured."

He is confident that soon he would ask his friends to join him. We hope this gives some drive to civic officials as well as other responsible citizens.
