Scheduled Castes Commission asks EFLU Vice Chancellor to depose

“Koonal, along with other students, presented the case in front of PM Kamalamma, member of NCSC and demanded an immediate inquiry into the April 14 incident where Duggal was allegedly dragged out of the university by the security officials," a students' press release said.

The students have filed a case against proctor Prakash Kona under SCST Prevention of Atrocities Act.
It can be recalled that, PhD scholar Koonal was evicted from the campus premises of EFLU on Thursday after he delivered a speech against the atrocities on Dalit students. Incidentally, the event took place when there was a nationwide celebrations of the Dalit icon Dr. BR Ambedkar's 125 anniversary.
Meanwhile, proctor Prakash Kona has a different version. He accused Koonal of trespassing and indulging in anti-university activities. He added that his entry into the campus including the hostels is strictly prohibited without proctor's permission.
