Sarpanch candidate commits suicide over loss in polls in Proddutur

Unable to bear the defeat in Panchayat polls, a candidate allegedly committed suicide at Pitam Palli of Proddutur on Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports, Sunitha who had contested the panchayat polls narrowly lost the Pitam Palli sarpanch post.

She committed suicide suicide at her house after feeling humiliated about losing polls. Further details are awaited
